What a Miracle Life Is!

A Sonogram of an infant in his mother's womb.  What a miracle life is!  That God makes us partners is truly amazing!

Give God the Praise and Glory!

Psalm 100

A psalm. For giving grateful praise.

1 Shout for joy to the Lord, all the earth.
2 Worship the Lord with gladness;
come before him with joyful songs.
3 Know that the Lord is God.
It is he who made us, and we are his[a];
we are his people, the sheep of his pasture.

4 Enter his gates with thanksgiving
and his courts with praise;
give thanks to him and praise his name.
5 For the Lord is good and his love endures forever;
his faithfulness continues through all generations.

Thy Word is a Lamp Unto My Feet, a Light Unto My Path!

The Symbols Used to Illustrate the Word of God:

1. A Sword; The Bible is a pointed Word that convicts the hearer. Hebrews 4:12, "For the word of God is living and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart."

2. A Hammer; The Bible is a faithful Word, revealing the individual to himself. Jeremiah 23:29, "Is not my word like fire," declares the LORD, "and like a hammer that breaks a rock in pieces?"

3. A Seed; The Bible is a living Word regenerating the hearer. 1 Peter1:23, "For you have been born again, not of perishable seed, but of imperishable, through the living and enduring word of God."

4. A mirror; The Bible is a faithful Word, revealing the individual to himself. The Bible is like a mirror, in which the sinner or saint looks and sees a true reflection of him as portrayed by the Lord Himself. James 1:23-25, "Anyone who listens to the word but does not do what it says is like a man who looks at his face in a mirror and, after looking at himself, goes away and immediately forgets what he looks like. But the man who looks intently into the perfect law that gives freedom, and continues to do this, not forgetting what he has heard, but doing it-he will be blessed in what he does."

5. A Fire; The Bible is a burning Word, consuming the dross in the hearer. Jeremiah 23:29, ""Is not my word like fire," declares the LORD, "and like a hammer that breaks a rock in pieces?"; Jeremiah 20:9, "But if I say, "I will not mention him or speak any more in his name," his word is in my heart like a fire, a fire shut up in my bones. I am weary of holding it in; indeed, I cannot."

6. A Lamp; The Bible is an illuminating Word guiding the believer day by day. Psalm 119:105, "Your word is a lamp to my feet    and a light for my path."

7. Food; The Bible is nourishing food, feeding the soul - providing meat and drink. 1 Peter 2:2, "Like newborn babies, crave pure spiritual milk, so that by it you may grow up in your salvation"; 1 Corinthians 3:2, "I gave you milk, not solid food, for you were not yet ready for it. Indeed, you are still not ready"; Romans 10:17, "Consequently, faith comes from hearing the message and the message is heard through the word of Christ."

The Word of God convicts, breaks, regenerates, reveals, consumes, illuminates and nourishes the individual.  Honor it, preserve it, teach it to youth and children.  Never take it for granted.  It is God speaking to you through the words of God's book.
